11/06/2018: MTDA Offices Closed

Announcement

Hello from MTDA offices in Missoula!

MTDA’s offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, per the University of Montana calendar, for Election Day.

MTDA will monitor the support desk for issues on Tuesday, but, will otherwise be closed.

MTDA teacher services will be available otherwise, including email responsiveness and credit recovery grading services.  Online classrooms will also remain open.

10/17/2018: MTDA Closed for Statewide Professional Development

Announcement

Hello from MTDA offices in Missoula!

Per our academic calendars, MTDA will be closed October 18-19, 2018, for the statewide professional development and teacher conference week.  Closed means that:

  • The MTDA offices in Missoula are closed until 8 am, Monday, October 22, 2018.
  • The MTDA support desk will be lightly monitored for emergencies.  Helpdesk services will be fully active again at 8 am, Monday, October 22, 2018.
  • Teachers are not expected to answer emails during the break. However, some/many will likely track email.
  • Grading services for credit recovery will not be available.
  • The online classrooms will remain open, 24/7.

Spring 2018 Original Credit Final Exams

ATTENTION MTDA Students!!

MTDA Spring 2018 Original Credit Semester Finals will be administered May 21-23, 2018. Final exams must be taken on one of these dates, without exception.  Semester finals should be complete by 5pm on Wednesday, May 23rd. The date of final exams cannot be changed.

Please locate your class(es): Exam Proctor Information If your course has a YES in the proctored final column, you will need to take your exam in the presence of a local proctor. That person will have the password for your exam and any other important exam instructions.

Arranging for a proctor and time to take your exam is your responsibility.  The exam time arranged by you and your proctor must take place on May 21st, 22nd, or 23rd. Your proctor can be a school administrator, counselor, site facilitator, or other school personnel. It may not be a parent or another student. Start this process now, as it is not something you want to leave until the last minute! Make sure you know far ahead of time who your proctor will be and the best date/time to take your exam.

If your course has a NO in the proctored final column, you may still have a semester exam for your course, but a proctor is not required. See your course page and instructor for more information and announcements.

4/12/2018 (10:38am): Moodle Down

 

Attention

Good morning from the MTDA offices.  Moodle, the primary location for all MTDA classes, is currently down with a reported “fatal error.”  MTDA staff is aware of the problem and we are currently working on a solution with our partner.  Please check back in this space for updates.

Happy Holidays from Montana Digital Academy!

Per our academic calendar, we will be running a limited schedule from December 21, 2017, to January 1, 2018.

During that time:

  • Teacher services will not be available. You are encouraged to email your teachers with any issues, however, you will likely not receive a response until January 2nd.
  • The MTDA offices in Missoula are closed on December 25th and January 1st. We will observe our normal business hours on other weekdays, 8am-5pm.  Light staffing will be available to assist with questions.
  • Support desk services are available but may be limited or delayed. Support tickets should be directed to support@montanadigitalacademy.org.
