We’d like to announce our holiday schedule. We will be running a limited schedule from December 22, 2016, to January 2, 2017.
During that time:
- Teacher services will not be available. You are encouraged to email your teachers with any issues, however, you will likely not receive a response until January 3rd.
- The MTDA offices in Missoula are closed on December 26th and January 2nd. We will observe our normal business hours on other weekdays, 8am-5pm.
- Support desk services are available but may be limited or delayed. Support tickets should be directed to email@example.com.

ATTENTION MTDA Students!
MTDA Fall 2016 Original Credit Semester Finals will be administered January 17-19, 2017. Final exams must be taken on one of these dates, without exception. Thursday, January 19, 2017 is the last day of Fall 2016 semester. Semester finals should be complete by 5pm on Thursday. The date of final exams cannot be changed.
Please locate your class(es): Exam Proctor Information
If your course has a YES in the proctored final column, you will need to take your exam in the presence of a local proctor. That person will have the password for your exam and any other important exam instructions.
Arranging for a proctor and time to take your exam is your responsibility. The exam time arranged by you and your proctor must take place on January 17th, 18th, or 19th. Your proctor can be a school administrator, counselor, site facilitator, or other school personnel. It may not be a parent or another student. Start this process now, as it is not something you want to leave until the last minute! Make sure you know far ahead of time who your proctor will be and the best date/time to take your exam.
If your course has a NO in the proctored final column, you may still have a semester exam for your course, but a proctor is not required. See your course page and instructor for more information.
Hello from Montana Digital Academy!
Montana Digital Academy will be closed from 5pm, Wednesday, November 23, 2016 to 8am, Monday, November 28, 2016 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
During that time, our online classrooms will remain open, however, our offices and help desk will be closed. There will also be no teacher services available.
Hello from MTDA offices in Missoula!
Per our academic calendars, MTDA will be closed October 20-21, 2016, for the statewide professional development and teacher conference week. Closed means that:
- The MTDA offices in Missoula are closed until 8am, Monday, October 24, 2016.
- The MTDA support desk will only be lightly monitored for emergencies. Helpdesk services will be active again at 8am, Monday, October 24, 2016.
- Teachers are not expected to answer emails during the break, however, some/many will likely track email.
- The online classrooms will remain open, 24/7.

Week 4 of our fall semester begins today! We are now sending out weekly grade reports to you, your parents and your local school, and all classes are in full swing. We hope you are feeling engaged and confident in this environment!
If all is going well? Great! Carry on, scholar! Let us know if we can assist you in the coming weeks and months as the semester runs it course.
If things are not going well, this is the week to fix it! Please contact your teacher or the help desk, (firstname.lastname@example.org) right away so we can resolve any issue.
If you decide the course is not for you and would like to drop, that’s okay, but, you must visit your high school counselor right away with that information. Tuesday, September 26, 2016, is the deadline to drop courses. After that day, drop requests may result in a notation/grade on your transcript.

Good day from the MTDA offices at the University of Montana in Missoula! The Fall 2016 High School Original Credit program starts today!
For those starting the program today, here are some important announcements to help you get started right!
Usernames and Passwords
At of the day of enrollment, all student usernames and passwords were emailed to students. If you do not have your username and password, please contact the MTDA help desk at email@example.com. If you are a past student at MTDA, a new username will NOT be emailed to you, and you should use your existing login and password. If you don’t remember that login, please contact the help desk.
Our original credit Fall 2016 semester starts Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Classes will be open in the virtual classroom by 8am. It is important that you get up and started this week as there are assignments and expectations for you in the course. Students that are not logged in and up to pace by week’s end risk being dropped from the course so don’t delay your start!
The last day of the program is Thursday, January 19, 2017. No assignments will be accepted after 5pm on that day.
Although the virtual classrooms are open for access and student work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our classes are considered “in session” Monday-Friday, per our academic calendar located at here: link.
MTDA has a brief orientation program for students and parents. You may access our orientation-on-demand program available by clicking here: link. Included in that program is how and where to log in.
Throughout the semester, please don’t be afraid to contact your instructor for help as soon as you run into problems. Additionally, you may contact the MTDA help desk at firstname.lastname@example.org for technical support, or assistance contacting an instructor if you are not getting a response. We want you to be successful in online courses!

As a reminder, the late finish deadline for the summer credit recovery program is today, August 12th. We will have teaching staff available until early afternoon, so, please make sure that you turn in any assignments before the noon hour.
There is no extension available for the summer credit recovery program as the classes were due last Friday.

Attention credit recovery students… unless your program has already ended (please check with your local school!), the summer credit recovery program ends on August 5th. For those that have proctoring available at their local school, the late finish deadline is August 12th. There is absolutely no extension available after that date, no exceptions.
