Spanish III A & B
Course Length:
Two one-semester courses (students must independently register for each semester)
Course Description:
Spanish III provides mastery and expansion of skills acquired by the students in Spanish 2. Students have many opportunities to use the Spanish they already know as well as to expand their vocabulary, knowledge of grammar, and experiences with Spanish-speaking countries. The purpose of this course is to provide many experiences where students can use Spanish. Completely immersed in Spanish, students speak, listen, read, write and collaborate with other students in Spanish in this course. They also gain knowledge and perspectives about Spanish-speaking countries and from Spanish-speaking people. Spanish 3 is a rigorous course. Students will be challenged and need to have 8 hours per week designated to be successful.
Prerequisites:
Successful completion of Spanish I and Spanish II

Required Materials:
- A notebook and a printer for hard copies and notes
- A flash drive or a folder on your hard drive to save assignments
- A microphone and speakers or a headset

All world language courses require the ability to record oral language using the computer. A headset and microphone are required.

Spring: B semester available
Summer: Not available
Course is not available to join at semester without permission from MTDA Curriculum Director and Instructor. Students must pass the A semester to qualify for enrollment in the B semester.
