High School Dual Credit

Montana Digital Academy offers a variety of High School Dual Credit courses through our partnerships with Helena, Missoula, and Gallatin College. This means you can earn college and high school credit through the same course.

Why Take High School Dual Credit Through MTDA?

  • Concurrent enrollment (dual credit) partnerships provide high school students the opportunity to take college credit-bearing courses. The National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships, NACEP, defines concurrent enrollment as the subset of dual enrollment courses taught by college-approved high school teachers. MTDA utilizes Montana high school teachers that are college-approved and actively teaching in a Montana school. 
  • MTDA course offerings are designed exclusively for high school students in Montana. This allows our courses to scale to high school student need across the state.
  • MTDA High School Dual Credit courses follow the same research-based layout and delivery as other MTDA course. This provides a seamless experience for students that have been previously enrolled in other MTDA courses.

    One-Two-Free!

    All MTDA Dual Credit courses qualify for the states, One-Two-Free program. One-Two-Free offers two tuition-free dual enrollment courses, up to six credits. If you would like to complete more than two Dual Credit course (or exceed the six credit limit) you’ll be charged the discounted dual enrollment tuition rate (on average $51/credit).
