Attention High School World Language Students
Attention all high school French, German, Latin and Spanish students:
We are getting reports that students trying to access the program using Internet Explorer 8 are having issues getting into the curriculum. Our technical support contacts with the vendor say they are aware of the problem and are actively looking for a fix.
In the meantime, we suggest either 1.) upgrading to Internet Explorer 9 (where available) or using 2.) Google Chrome.
We will post updates here. Thanks! We apologize for any inconvenience.
Attention High School Original Credit Students: Proctored Finals
Attention all Fall 2012 high school original credit students:
Many MTDA classes required that you have your final exam in your MTDA class proctored by an adult proctored named by your local school. Your teacher should have informed you if you needed a proctored final, however, if you don't know if you need one or now, please see our list of classes that require a proctor by clicking here: link.
Each local school handles the proctoring requirement differently. You should contact your local site facilitator as soon as possible to arrange for a time and place to take the exam.
Attention Seniors Graduating in January

Reported problem: PowerSpeak slow to load
Hello MTDA students and local sites.
We are getting reports from a handful of schools that they are having issues with loading PowerSpeak (high school Latin, German, French and Spanish). The issue manifests itself either a very slow load of PowerSpeak, or, a spinning wheel and no access to the curriculum.
One possible solution is making sure that you have the most recent version of Java, which updates frequent. Please be sure that you update when asked to by Java itself, or, download the latest version here:
UPDATE: This issue has been resolved. Please contact Jason ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) if you continue to experience problems.
