We have received notification that PLE is experiencing an issue with a delay in progress and test data showing up in the facilitator view. From Edmentum:
“Please be aware of this issue in PLE this morning. When the student completes an activity the progress is displayed to the student, however, it’s not showing on the educator side. To the educator, it appears not started unless you drill down to the activity history log where it shows the score and status. While the data is not displaying, the progress is saving in the background. This is also effecting the educator’s ability to edit progress. When trying to edit status it appears as if it’s working but the progress doesn’t update to show the changes made. While the progress doesn’t appear to change, the changes were made on the back-end and the student can see the changes. For example, the educator unlocks a test but the screen doesn’t show that it’s unlocked. When the student logs in, they see the test is unlocked.
Our Development is actively working on this and we will let you know as soon as we have a resolution. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”
In the meantime, if you are experiencing other issues, please contact our support desk.
Update from Edmentum: 2:30pm “We are currently experiencing intermittent issues with PLE (PLATO Learning Environment) causing zeroes to appear for Time-on-Task and Time-in-System on the “My Classes” page. The data is being stored and tracked correctly for all learners, this is simply a display issue. This information can alternatively be viewed in the Learner Progress Report or Learner Daily Usage Report. We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience on this matter. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Customer Support..”
Attention all users: We had a brief outage of our credit recovery from 1:10-1:25pm today. All issues appear to be resolved, however, if you have ongoing issues, please contact our support desk at support@montanadigitalacademy.org.
The MTDA staff continues to monitor the situation. We apologize for any inconvenience.
A reminder that Tuesday, September 23, 2014 is the final deadline for drops in the Fall 2014 high school original credit program. After Tuesday, students that remain enrolled will be considered committed to the program for the Fall semester. Drop requests received after tomorrow will receive a WF report back to the school for recording on the local transcript.
As previously announced, enrollment for our high school original credit program is now closed! Thanks for your hard work in getting kids enrolled and started.
The Fall 2014 Connect Credit Recovery semester is open for enrollment. The program will be substantially the same as last year, with a few program changes:
All tests of all types now has a passing score of 65%. This score is non-negotiable.
Academic coaches will now lock down ALL pre-tests, unit post-test and the final exam for site facilitators to unlock and actively proctor. Site facilitators should take good care NOT to unlock a unit pre-test until they have confirmed that the previous unit is complete (including the minimum score on all tests plus all offline assignments completed).
Site facilitators should also review the site facilitator handbook for information related to program setup.
Open enrollment closed last night for our high school original credit program. We have sectioned off courses and assigned teachers.
We will take enrollments until Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in any course we have spots open. Again this semester, we have a list where you can see all course title that have currently open spots by clicking here.
We are not able to take names for a waiting list or hold a spot; open slots are first come, first served.
